We tried to interview six contractors for our project in Oceanside. Two of the contractors were no shows and after meeting with the four others it was an easy decision to hire JDN Construction. Jeremy was very familiar with all the local codes that would impact our project and was able to provide a complete and comprehensive estimate of the project. It was evident he knew what he was talking about and how to get our project done. Another thing that we liked was during the decision process he always did what he said he would when he said he would. He showed up on time and provided plans and a budget proposal by the agreed upon date. When we had questions, he was also always available and easy to get a hold of.The project was a complete tear down of the house to the studs and adding some square footage. There were a few issues that we were not to surprised by. If it was a minor issue Jeremy made decisions to keep the project on schedule and when there were bigger issues, he communicated not only the issue but the proposed solutions and cost. This helped to keep the project on schedule and eliminate any anxiety. Really the whole process was smooth and pretty much stress free.The entire project was finished on time and came in under budget. We are very happy with the results and are glad that we went with JDN Construction. As a matter of fact, we are considering building an ADU and JDN Construction will be our contractor.

Back in 2020, we hired JDN Construction to build an 800 square foot detached ADU and to add space to our existing garage for an additional vehicle. We were so happy with the work done that we expanded the project to include pool restoration and patio hard scape improvements. It all turned out fantastic.I wrote a review after the project was done expressing our great satisfaction with the work and the entire process, but I thought it would be helpful to provide an update now nearly four years after to project completed. We love the finished product and still couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire JDN Construction for our projects. Jeremy has always been there if we’ve had any questions about anything related to the work. I would DEFINITELY recommend JDN Construction!!!

What initial pushed me in their direction was how details and responsive they were with providing accurate estimates on the project prior to any contract. As we started to work through the project, they provided clear expense reposts insuring I was updated on costs along the way. They also were always on top of it when it came to keeping things moving quickly, but also making sure the work was done correctly. At the end of the project, we were close to budget and time, and I was very happy with the work provided.I would definitely recommend JDN if you are looking for a contractor.
